I stopped to smell em'

The other night I stopped and asked the owner of these roses if I could buy some of her roses for my wife. She refused any payment, but she graciously took all my compliments.
These pictures are dedicated to my wife, my mom, and my daughter.

Cowboy for a day

I was on my way to the Springville Days car show to take some pics of the old cars. As I drove past a field I saw these two cowboys (hats, spurs, ropes and everything) doin' cowboy stuff. I stopped and asked if I could take some pics. Brady and Ty were nice enough to indulge me. They warned me that I would probably die because I was wearing light blue cargo shorts, an argyle shirt and skate shoes. I guess wild animals don't like the smell of preppy city boys.
So I ran around through the swampy crap infested field after these real men as they roped and rode. I felt real tough.  No, I felt like an idiot. But I did get some good pics out of it and by the end they let me help them wrangle some cows and couple of horses. The height of the day was when Ty told me to ride Brady's horse back to him. I saddled up, spit on the ground & tried not to look stupid. I don't think it worked.
Thanks to Ty & Brady for the best Saturday I've had in a while.

I love old tressle bridges.

don't STOP

Delta trip. I just liked the way this looked backlit.

Home on the range

Again this was on my trip to Delta. Great trip because of the views

delta clouds

I was on my way to Delta UT in a friends truck. I didn't have a good camera with me, neither did he. But he did have a point & shoot camera. I wish I could have really captured what it looked like. The clouds were equally scary and peaceful at the same time. (5-18-09)
